# SAP Sales and Quotes Integration

Integrate Emporix Commerce Engine with SAP S/4HANA for sales and quote transactions using SAP Integration Suite.

This guide describes how Emporix Commerce Engine integrates with SAP S/4HANA for transactional sales and quote processes. It covers the technical interaction between both systems and the SAP Integration Suite configuration required to exchange transactional data.

The integration addresses the following transactional scenarios:

* Order or price simulation for products in a shopping cart
* Webhook-triggered order and quote creation in SAP S/4HANA
* Polling-based order and quote status updates in Emporix Commerce Engine

Check the configuration guides for the technical information about the integration and the process description to understand the end-to-end story.

{% hint style="warning" %}
This documentation refers to the **SAP S/4HANA** example – integration flow and SAP Integration Suite configuration. The same high-level transactional scenarios apply to **SAP ERP 6.0**, for the shared business flow. SAP ERP 6.0 uses a separate integration package with its own implementation set. The ready-to-use integration content for both backends is delivered in the Emporix SAP integration packages. Request the SAP S/4HANA package or the SAP ERP 6.0 integration package from the [Emporix Support Team](mailto:support@emporix.com) using the same procedure.

Any provided code in this documentation serves as example only and is not intended for use in a productive system environment.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://developer.emporix.io/user-guides/extensibility-and-integrations/integrations/sap-integration/sap-sales-quotes-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
