Delivery times are used for the configuration of the delivery cycles with focus on short-time deliveries and long-term delivery periods. You can create multiple delivery times for different zones, shipping methods, cut-off days and cut-off times.

To learn about the details of the feature, check the documentation.

Creating a new delivery time

  1. To start configuring a new delivery time, go to Management Dashboard -> Delivery Times and choose Create Delivery Time.

  2. Decide if you want to set up the delivery time for the dates where the delivery is possible, or for the dates where there's no delivery.

    • If you choose Delivery day, you need to specify Days and Delivery window in the next steps.

    • If you choose Non delivery day, you need to specify the Days when delivery is not possible.

  3. Enter a name for the delivery time to make the configuration distinguishable from the other delivery times.

  1. Choose the period for which you want to specify the delivery time. You can choose between weekdays, single and multiple days, or create a date period. If you select multiple weekdays, single entries for each day are created and can be maintained separately.

  1. Optional: You can choose a General Cut-off Day, which sets the cut-off day for all the slots available for the delivery time. The general cut-off day can be set up to 6 days before the delivery of the order, you can select from a range between -1 and - 6 days. If you choose to set up the general cut-off day, you cannot set up specific cut-off days for separate slots, the field is hidden and disappears from the delivery windows. The cut-off day is defined in the UTC timezone, by default its value is visible as 0, which means it is not set.

  2. Choose the Zone to which the delivery time should apply to. All the shipping zones that you have created for your tenant are visible in the drop-down menu. You can choose one zone for the specific delivery time.

  1. If you chose Delivery Day setting in the general section, you need to configure a Delivery Window. You can configure multiple slots for the same delivery time.

    • Delivery Method - select a shipping method that is available for the zone you selected. For one slot, you can select one shipping method. The shipping methods are configured within zones' configuration.

    • Time From and Time To - specify the exact slot when the delivery can take place.

    • Cut-off Times - specify what is the exact time until which the users can make an order with the delivery time that is configured, when they miss the time, the delivery option is not selectable for the customer. Cut-off time is defined in the UTC timezone.

    • Optional: Specific Cut-off Day - specify what is the day until which the users can make an order with the delivery time slot that is configured.

When the users miss the day and the time, the delivery option is not selectable for them and the next possible delivery window can be used. The specific cut-off day can be set up to 6 days before the configured weekday delivery, you can select from a range between -1 and - 6 days. The specific cut-off day is available only for weekdays, and only if the general cut-off day is not selected. If you choose to set up the specific cut-off day, you cannot set up the general cut-off day for all the slots, the field disappears from the days section.

The cut-off day is defined in the UTC timezone, by default its value is visible as 0, which means it is not set.

Setting the specific cut-off day also means that you can set the cut-off time that is different from the time range you have configured for the particular delivery window. If the specific cut-off time is set to 0 by default, the validation shows the cut-off time cannot be outside the configured time range. But, if the specific cut-off day is selected to any other value, for example -1, it means the cut-off time can be after the defined time range of the delivery window because it refers to a day(s) before. For example: delivery on Monday and cut-off day on Saturday.

    • Delivery Cycle Name - define a name for the specific delivery cycle configuration.

    • Capacity - define how many orders can be created for the delivery time.

To create new zones with shipping methods, go to Settings -> .

To learn about all the possibilities of the delivery configurations, check the Delivery times section in the documentation.
